Tuesday evening, Riverside recognized local veterans before the senior high game. Mr. Steven Sanders performed the National anthem. Then, veterans were called by their names and were honored and students handed them an envelope containing different patriotic things such as American flags and thank you cards signed by students at Riverside. Then, the veterans were invited to eat in a hospitality room in the school library. Riverside is so thankful and appreciative of all of the veterans that have served our country and will continue to serve our country.
