Holocaust Survivor Series
By: Autumn Courtney
Riverside High School took our students to a Holocaust Survivor Series field trip located in Pocahontas, Arkansas. They got to hear about Esther Starobin’s personal experiences related to the Holocaust. When she was only two years of age her parents were sent to Auschwitz and murdered as soon as they arrived. She talked about the changes it caused for her, growing up, her foster family in England, and how this tragic event has impacted her entire life.
