A notice is hereby given that on May 26, 2023, the Riverside School District plans to destroy all special education records for students who have graduated, moved, dropped, been dismissed or were found ineligible for services prior to the 2016-2017 school year. In accordance with State and Federal guidelines, special education records are maintained for six years after the student exits the program. You have the right to review and request copies of these records before they are destroyed. A student also has the right to review/copy these records if he/she is 18 years or older.
