Riverside Online Classroom
Students in the ROC program are taught by Riverside teachers and are able to create flexible schedules that allow them to take all or most of their classes online from the comfort of home. ROC students can participate in all extracurricular activities that the school has to offer such as basketball, softball, band, choir, etc. They may even participate in class field trips. At the completion of the program, students will take part in Riverside's graduation ceremony and earn a Riverside diploma.
Riverside understands that the needs and abilities of today's students are evolving and we always strive to be at the forefront of educational innovation.
ROC Application & Agreement
Anyone interested in participating in the ROC program is encouraged to complete the application below. After the application is received the parent, student, and school officials will meet to discuss how this program would benefit the student. This meeting will be in person or virtual depending on what is convenient for the student's family. If you are accepted into the program a signed ROC agreement must be returned to the school before the student may participate.
ROC Parent Meetings
After you have completed your ROC application you must attend a parent/student meeting on one of the following days: May 25th at 5pm or August 3rd at 5pm. Parents and students are required to attend in order to be considered for the ROC program. Both meetings will be held in the RHS Cafeteria.
In order for your child to be successful they must have access to a reliable source of Wi-Fi. Please contact the school for additional information if your child will have Wi-Fi access problems.
